| Is this correct? I just purchased an autococker last night (figured for the price, why not) and the seller claims its a 2000. He seems like a stand up guy so I'm not accusing him of anything, but the frame is throwing me off... So tell me, wise ones, what year 'cocker is this? Thanks in advance!! ![]() ![]() I'll be able to post more pics once it arrives... |

| Sorry I should have been more specific, I'll check the sn when it arrives... Also I plan on installing a pump kit and running a 3.5oz vertically. I've been doing some research around the forums and figure I may have to do some respringing, is there anything else you guys could imagine I'd need to do to get it shooting well? |

| Just rip off the pneumatics, install a pump kit and you'll be able to roll. The stock valve for a 2K+ is very good. You said you are going to run with a 3.5 oz tank, is that straight in the ASA with out a reg? If so you might have to respring and to get good effiecieny and you could re-valve/respring it with a pre-98 [or is it 96] valve but that usually is only necessary if you go 12g.

| Active Member | I believe it was pre-97' actually. WGP enlraged the valve chamber in 98' I read. Anyways, you'll need to re-spring to get proper velocity and efficency. IIRC, I've heard of chamber de-volumizers to lower the volume of the valve chamber and make the marker suited better towards HP use. I think Wevo sold them. That is also definitely a 2K+. The frame was just added on later, they originally came with sliders. The ball detent looks a little akward though. |

| well, the body is 2k+ the frame is a 2k3+. It could have been swapped. I have that frame on a 99 sniper conversion.

| Yeah I was planning on running it w/o the reg. I like the look and feel of the tank hanging off the asa, but if it doesnt work out i can just throw the reg back on and relocate the tank. I'll also keep the valve/internal switch idea in mind. Someone mentioned that it probably came with a slider frame, do any of you have an extra you would like to part with; perhaps trade? yeah that probably should go in the WTB section but since I got you all here I figured I'd ask. |
