sniper hammer problem

i just got my internals in the mail today. i put in the hammer, spring, ivg and cocking rod. i pumped it and pulled the trigger a few times. on like the 5th time the hammer would not go back. it is stuck forward. how am i sopposed to get it out without destroying the gun.lol. thanks for all the help in advance.

Hold the hammer back and pull on the cocking rod. Dont know what it can be stuck on???

I think you may have set the hammer lug too low (despite the first few good shots)

Remove the gripframe, and try again but back up the hammer lug.

its stuck so i cant get the allen head in the hole to adjust the lug.

wow, that is odd as hell....

Remove cocking rod and IVG, insert small dowel and give a tap with hammer?

Maybe something got stuck in there with it and it is wedged?

The valve is out?

If so, Im gussing you didnt run the lug down into the slot. If the valve is indeed out, stick your pump rod thru the hole in the front of the body and push it out.

it took a dowel rod and a hammer but i got it unstuck and i didnt even break anything

If the valve was out and you were cocking back the hammer and pulling the trigger, you may have jammed the hammer into the valve nut threads - pray to Velcor that you didn't screw those threads up.

NEVER do that. It's a good way to destroy a body.
