| www.pbpumpshop.com | Pump rods are indeed 10-32 threaded. Its super easy to cut and rethread...with the proper tools. Make sure you have a quality die, and use a threading/tapping oil. Once you get it started, go one round, then back off a half round to clean the chips. I cut/rethread every halfblock that comes in, so I do dozens a month. Ive had the same $15 die for over a year, and use Tap Magic for lube. Rapid Tap too. |

| I've got some nice Snap-on Cutting Oil I've had good luck with at work - probably use that when I cut the threads. I just refuse to spend $20 on a rod when I can modify one I already have for nothing. Jordan
