I just picked up this mini-cocker with serial number 5247 and apparently, it has been very well maintained. Anyway, it is a "Generation X Cocker." Has anyone heard of this brand before? It seems to be System X, especially because of the X on the back block and the Gen X thing, but still, I really don't know. Just wondering what the history of this might be. Thanks, Tony |

Nope, its the first ANS line of cockers appearing in the late 90's. they were followed by the Super X line, then moved to the current Gen X 2 LE, Gen x2, gen X 3 and Gen X 4. that X was their signature mark at the time, and predates system X by about 5 years.

Thanks fellas, the information is much appreciated. I got it and a bunch of stuff (HPA tank, co2 tank, pods, hauler, Dye 2 pc glued barrel, etc., etc.) for $201 shipped off of ebay. I wonder what it's actually worth. If like most cockers now-a-days, about $150 I'd say. |

I love the long drops on the later Gen X's. I really don't like big drops on my guns, but theirs for some reason works for me. Anywho, cool find. Happy shooting!
