| Hi! This is the source of my current problems :F ![]() Its old 99' pump-cocker both form one of the users of Mcarterbrown forum :F Firstival i have to tell that I'm a n00b if we are talking about cockers so don't kill me if my problem is silly :F When I've got the marker it worked fine (it has just set low velocity) but after my activities like putting everything to parts --> cleaning --> using lubricate and finally putting all together there is a problem When I'm screwing in the co2 bottle its everything ok. No leaks. Everything looks to be fine. But after recocking it (with hopper full of paint) and pulling the trigger there is a characteristic "boom" what every marker does when it's firing but the paintball doesn't "explode" out of the barrel but just sadly drop out for about few inches So getting everything togheter in simple form: There is a "boom" but the gas doesn't push the ball through the barrel adding wanted speed. I;ve checked the bolt it's put correct ... I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what is the reason of this situation. PLS Experienced Cocker users help me |

| Either too much pressure or not enough - do you know what kind of valving is in it? If it's sprung for unregged CO2, you need to try a tank screwed right into the vertical bottle adapter - if it's got the newer style valving, try putting around 400-500psi into the gun. If you're SURE that the bolt is in right, then you're not getting enough air through the valve - it's either not enough/too much pressure (see above) or you're main spring is not hard enough/valve spring too stiff. Could also have paint that's too big for the barrel. Jordan

| Bolt isn't upside down :F This could be something with pressure couse I didn;t have opportunity to fill my HP tank so i tried everything on Co2 (3,5 oz from Phantom) and I screwed it into the vertical air adapter (after unscrewing reg). About main spring --> I'm sure it's ok. So it have to be something with pressure :F I'll check it on friday game. Thx! |

| .:|Purification Admin|:. | then I agree with Jordan, the valve was shut down by overpressure to equate to a very short dwell cycle.

| PHEW! I saw this thread, and noticed the marker looked kinda familiar. Then I realized it was mine, and it wasn't working! I was panicking, thinking what could have gone wrong, because I was sure it was working when I sent it, maybe something happened in shipping, then I saw the final post. All I can say is I'm relieved, I would have felt terrible sending someone a broken gun. I'm glad you like it, I loved that barrel on it too. |
