| mystery of the cocker bolt I was talking to Ron at Alamo City Paintball, and he observed that the stock bolt on my Outkast seems too short. Even though the holes line up (from the valve to the bolt inlet), the nose of the bolt stops about an inch (maybe a little less) from where the back of the barrel is. It seems like the bolt should end up flush with the barrel. Is the length of the bolt by design or is it by accident? |

| I've noticed that about my halfblock cocker bolt. While the bolt nose is long enough to seal the breech, its not too much longer than that. Other bolts I have are longer in the nose, however none actually go up and seal in the back of the barrel.i have noticed that I can unscrew the barrel with the cocker tilted back and find that the ball isnt seated in the barrel. Wierd. |

| It's all related to how far the hammer travels from at rest to locked back. The travel is usually about 3/4" or so (about the same as a sheridan... I wonder why An inch back from the bolt face to the barrel seems waaaaay to far though. E
