| you bring up another good topic railgun. Is an ANS GX-5 worth $229 or not. I love cockers. and I was planning on swapping out that funky drop if I got one. but will that 90 degree hinge give me enough speed without a rediculous amount of concentration. I mean I ussually play with my sniper so I shoot like a...... sniper, but I want to know I can open up on people when I have to, you know, keep some heads down. |

| I picked up an ANS GX-5 at the end of last season. After playing with a mini cocker with a P-bolt, the X5 feels a lot longer. I really like the 90 frame they put on it, I had put one on my last cocker. I use a 45/45 tank, and it really pulls the gun up tight to your face, with your mask up against the beavertail. The twisting feedneck seems high to me, I am picking up an aftermarket no rise clamping one this weekend. Other than that it is a solid marker, and more than capable of overshooting my ricochet hopper. I got mine for $300 off of E Bay with an E frame. $229 seems a bit high right now, maybe hold out for a bit and pick one up used. |
