Vertical ASA

Is there supposed to be a rubber "o-ring" like seal between the VA and the body? I took my VA off and re-attached it and now it leaks. Did I lose something when I took it off? If so, where can I buy a new seal?

Yes, you need an oring. I dont know the size, but I have some in stock. Shipping is going to cost 10x more than the oring though. Might want to check a local PB store???

I would assume it's an oval shaped seal right? Do have anything else in stock for cockers lol? I think I'd like to order a couple of these o-rings to have for the future.

No its a round o-ring. Just take the ASA with you over to any hardware store and snag one that fits.

Wouldn't the o-ring seal around that recessed area? If that's the case it'd have to be an oval shaped o-ring.

Just go get any seal from the plumbing department of your hardware store. If you find one that is the right size, it will work.

It's just a round black o-ring. You just need one that's thick enough to fit in there and prevent air from leaking out between the asa and the body.

Yea I'm seeing it as a round o-ring everywhere I look. But I'd like to see a pic of it set on the top of the VA. I just can't visualize how it sets on there since the recess on the VA is an oval.

I dont have a pic but the round o-ring will take the shape of the oval groove once you place it in there.
