| Bringing a 96 to 2K+ specs... What do I need to do bring my 96 spec Minicocker up to 2K+ specs? Obviously I would need the enlarge the frontblock bolt hole, and thread the lower tube for an IVG, but what work do I need to do to the valve chamber? I'm probably just better off getting a 2k+ body and working with that, I suppose, but I really like the looks of a 99 and older body. Jordan

| If you find someone to do this for your cocker please let me know. I've got a Sandridge body I'm hunting parts for and I'd much rather just bring it up to 2k+ specs than deal with finding older parts. Shouldn't really cost much either... |

| Active Member | Enlargening the valve chamber is basically done when the front block threads are being drilled out to 2k+ size before being tapped. Threading for IVG and then just using a 2k+ back block and frame (Pre-98 frames used a different trigger plate design IIRC) and toss in a 2k+ bolt and voila.
