Question Karnivor to mech?

I am a little new to cockers, I played with one last weekend, nothing special (I don't think) just a Triology and I really loved it.

I want to get myself a cocker and I came across a Karnivor for sale. I was wondering if you could easily convert it to a mech? (from my understanding it is electronic).

Thanks.

Sure. You'll need a mechanical 3-way to replace the electronic solenoid, a mechanical grip frame to replace the electronic frame, and a timing rod/collar. Assembly will be pretty easy, timing might be a chore if you're not cocker-savvy. There are plenty of tutorials available on the web to help out.

Also, make sure there isn't an MQ valve added to the Karni you're buying. If so you'll also need a mechanical valve.

It takes full length cocker timing rods, so thats no problem.

Should be easy. Just need the frame, timing rod, and 4 way.

Youl be left with eye holes, but it should be as easy as any other cocker.

How much do you think it would cost? I might be able to get hold of a Triology sport for fairly cheap, maybe it would be better to start on something like that?

I would love to build up a cocker from scratch, I really like the freeflow lotus body but it would be very difficult to get parts. They would have to be imported.
