Another "ID this 'cocker" thread...

So this is my first autococker, I just picked it up of craigslist from guy who's had it in his garage for 7+ years! I took it apart, lubed it up, and somehow it worked when I fired it lol.

Anyway, It has 23283 stamped right above the regulator, and it came with an expansion chamber that was gigantic! It also has a palmers... thing... whatever the thing is next to the 3 way valve.

Anyway, he says he bought it new in '98, and he's done a couple upgrades to it, but honestly I had no idea what he was talking about (something about opening up the bolt to make it lower pressure?)

Looks like a basic '98 RF 'Cocker with a Dye Eyzon (sp?) site, stock pneumatics and beavertail, old-style swing frame and AGD rubbers.

Yup, armson sight...

Anyway, is this thing worth anything? I actually got it because he was selling this and a RH gravity feed phantom for $175. Even a guess would be helpful...

Square edges on the sight rail make is pre-98. The sight is an Armson OEG. The pneumatics aren't stock, deffinatly a Palmer's full size Rock and an aftermarket micro ram. The beavertail is also aftermarket, the stock is square on the top of the back. The frame is a stock slider, probably metal from that era. And I'm pretty sure AGD rubbers were all flat on the bottom, not angled up on the bottom like those.

The grips are PMI.. you can almost read it from the right side pic. Honestly the shape looks like sheridan grips. From the dating guide, the body is a 95. Many of the other parts are newer than that though.

From Thumper's Autococker Dating List your serial # 23283 is from 1995 [17,000's - 28,000's = 1995]. This is the best collection of serial# to dates list I've seen.

Yeah, it's got some sort of extender on it, I'm fairly certain it's removable, but I haven't tried yet, I think he did it so he could stick something in there for a ball stop.
