im curently building a sleeper sniper from scratch, going towards a two tone flat/dust black and glossy black color scheme. the pre 2k cocker im buying has a non matching back block and VA, and i'll need to buy different ones. question is, do i have to buy a pre2k back block and VA or are they the same? secondly, would a 2k+ stainless steel screw kit fit on a pre2k? -v |

The VA's are different. Because the pre 2k bodies have square edges and the 2k+ bodies have rounded edges, they are not interchangeable. Well, I think you could use pre 2k VA on a post 2k body, but I'm not sure. Screw kits should be pretty much interchangeable. I got a nice set from Chris Mader. -chad PS: if you let me know what parts you want/need specifically (and in what color/finish), I might be able to hook you up. I've got a pretty sizeable stash of cocker parts... | |

The blocks will "fit" but may not flow with the lines. The main concern will be block and bolt length. Some pre 2k blocks are about an inch long...you will need to match the bolt length to the specific block depth . The ID's should remain the same. VA's arent all the same no matter if its pre or posk 2k. Some guns were rounded on the bottom and some were squared. Most should fit fine though. If you are in need of a true, stock pre 2k VA drop me a line...I just went through a pre-2k and have most stock parts left over. -Jake
