Hey what do ya know,a Trilogy might actually be useful for something after all....LOL

Shadowace 11-12-2006 08:01 PM

SWEET! I had absoulutly no desire to own a Trilogy till now hehe.

Beauty of it is, the cheapest trilogy is valved and sprung for unreged Co2. Perfect for a pump gun! I have seen them sell for as low as $79 for a reconditioned one.

I wonder how smooth it is. $40 is an awfully low price tag. But then, Trilogy's are awfully cheap guns...

Either way, I want one...

My thoughts exactly when a guy posted the one for the good old normal Autococker on PBN.

Later down the road, after I get a job, I'll have to get a used Trilogy, and one of these kits. ...Maybe a 12gram changer, and a Phantom stock-class feed too.

The big thing with any autococker is the barrel fit. So it would be worth spending some bucks on a barrel kit. After that the cheapest Sport body you can find is all you need for a slick pumper. And I like the idea of the basic CO2 feed. The vertical gas through grip would act like a sort of expansion chamber . Or better yet get a smaller actual expansion chamber and you're all good to go.

You may also be able to bore out the pump guide some, get a little more. :D

I alread y have a 'Cocker threaded Freak for my 'Mag, and really like Sheridan based guns. Plus that CCM 86* frame... It's like pure heroine!

Ok. Yeah. I'm building one. Expect to see this in the "MCB Reviews It" after Christmas!

Hmm... I'm also thinking about utilizing that built in 3way and making this pneu-assist and AT. I could run an LPR though a spacer between a reg and the vert ASA... Hmm...

I just checked ebay; and aside from the extremley misinformed people expecting to sell them for near-full price (bin), there are a few going for under $100. Someday when I have a spare $200 that I don't know what to do with, and have 47 other markers, I might get one. :D I always liked the simple asthetics of the trilogy.
