I found my place

A friendly gentleman from PBN directed me here, told me stories of older markers still in use by the members of this forum. I had to see it for myself!

After two hours of browzing trough all the old time goodness I had to join the family.

I know there are some who will appreciate my taste in quality cockers, I'll treat with you by pictures later. I just HAD to write something so you know theres a new saved soul!

Looking forward talking to my fellow gun whores, I mean collectors later

A quick question.
What sn# is considered a vintage cocker?

I have a minicocker #1011 and Sniper II #3484 that are pretty beat up, judging by the serials of my other cockers these are pretty old?

Painthappy 11-21-2006 07:18 PM

First off.. Welcome! And yes, those are old guns.

The mini cocker, when did those start... 1993 maybe, the serial numbers restarted since it was a new body.

The Sniper II's, their serial numbers supposedly started at Serial # 2000, so that gun is around 1990 lets say...

Thank You!
I have already met such nice people here in just a few hours, I'm never going back to PBN (ok I might but just to read my PM's) :D

Welcome to MCB........Be sure to watch your wallet carefully in the B/S/T sections, you'll go broke fast in there.

BTW Nice looking guns

Welcome, this is indeed a dangerous place for the wallet, and theres stil a few of us around. that is an interesting dark, and so is the millinium; was that chopped from freeflow or was that done later?

grande 11-21-2006 08:09 PM

I've seen Wolf's collection earlier

Not really sure about the origins of the Dark, I bought it used from PBN.
Those kids over there don't vallue their mech markers anymore.

The Millenium was purchased as minicocker, so no bodywork done to it later if that's what you meant?

I played with it when I got back to playing speedball the first time after a loooong break that is. Guys were coming to me saying "cool gun, what is that, how fast it shoot" and my favourite "where do you turn it on" :ROTFL:
I tried to keep from laughing and told him it's already "on" since it's a mechanical marker and doesn't use batteries.
Guess I was away too long :D

wolf13 11-21-2006 08:18 PM

yep, thats what i was curious about, I can't recall seeing a mini millinium before so was curious. oh, you might also want to check out the othe rlink in my sig, its still small, but right up your alley.

wait till you get checked for ramping or trigger bounce :D

Since that Dark is getting so much attention heres another pic of her:

The previous owner was kind enough using pliers when removing the feedneck :hammer: Otherwise it's in great condition. I'm having a hard time choosing which one to play with

Found one more. I LOVE this pic, taken by a REAL photographer at a big game in Estonia :)
