Cool Cocker mod. (dig it!)

I'm really surprised that i've NEVER seen anyone do this before, but I have this nagging feeling that i'll be seeing is a little more after I post these pictures.

Behold:

The stock had to be cutout from the inside and I had to open up the bottom to let the bottom of the frame through; that way, the accessory holes are still accesible. I countersunk the mounting holes on the stock as well, and got some really nice SS screws to to the job. I also countersunk the rear mounting hole on the gripframe, because otherwise it would dig into one's hand in a most uncomfortable way. That was also replaced with a really nice SS screw. I plan to contour the stock a tiny bit around the grip area because with my slightly bigger hands, I could still stand a bit more breathing room. Overall, It feels great! It's nicley balanced and goes with the rest of the marker quite well, I think. I'm also thinking about countersinking the beavertail screw eventually. Mabe.

I know, it's nothing that crazy, but it's still pretty awesome. Right? RIGHT?

Very nice! I've been wanting to mod a cocker frame, and Crosman stock for a little while now.

I like it, looks like it was meant to be like that. For some reason I get the feeling that you like countersinking and really nice SS screws.

Nicely done fer sure!

Where'd you get that ancient muzzle brake from? Or is this cocker THAT old? Could well be I suppose since it's got an expansion tank instead of a regulator on there.

And where's the gas supply going to go?

Heres how old she is; guess for yourself.. (92-94ish?)

As for the muzzle brake and expantion chamber, the brake I got from Bacci's parts sale and the chamber is somthing I just had lying around when I got the marker. I've heard the older ones are a bit better with co2 that way. Works for me fine anyway.. Somthing I like about that chamber a lot is that on the bottom of the chamber, there is actually ANOTHER asa built right in. I've never seen another one but I think it's a great design. And the way it's angled, a 20oz-sized tank fits perfectly under the gripframe. I might change it someday but it balances out pretty well for now.

My Autococker has serial number 19068 and is from '94, so I'd say yours is probably late '94 or '95.

Good job on the stock mod too. I personally don't find those crosman stocks to be comfortable at all, but they look cool.

You've got a pro-team intruder expansion chamber on there. I've been contemplating throwing a 90 degree adaptor and one of those on my VM.
