All questions should have been asked before bidding. Once you bid and win, it's yours. I would contact Ebay, and tell them that he bid and is attempting to back out, have them work and get the headache for you.

As long as you showed the R in the cocker, then you are hiding nothing and the seller is simply a cheap prick who got excited when he saw it and thought he was going to get outbid and ended up winning.

Call WGP tomorrow morning and see what they say. Ask what the 'R' means and if there would be any problem with resale.

I did call, and it was a rental, free to be resold after the fact. Thanks all.

Question

Yup, mystery solved - but the stamps are done at different times, and before anno from what I can tell... I'd prefer to think that it was a "special" reject - but... meh... After I get the retaliatory feedback from the buyer I plan on leaving a link to this post as my reply to the feedback to verify that his claim wasn't legit. You mind Carter?

Nope... no problem. Sounds like he's lying about knowing Bud Orr, etc anyhow... Since it took one phone call (easily done) to find out the guy was full of crap with what he said.

Well, if he was such close personal friend of Bud's, why does he need to spend money on buying a Sniper, couldn't he just ask for a free one?
