unibody phantom model differences?

Well, I now have 2 vintage unibody phantoms in my possession. However, the one I acquired yesterday is longer than others I've seen. My first one has a total body length (not including ASA) of approx. 15 inches. The one I just picked up measures out at a little over 18 3/4 ". They are both the standard black, RF variety, in nice shape, but both have lost most of the painted-on names. So, my question is whether the longer version was known by any particular model name other than a "phantom", or if the longer body style was simply an available option at the time. I can throw up a pic if needed. Thanks!

Luke

There were a couple different models.. with different barrel lengths.... somewhere someone posted a picture of an add that showed the models, but for the life of me I can't remember the names.

I also think Mike still has a poster with the model names hanging up at CCI... so you could always give him a call... he's a good guy to talk to... I'm sure he might be interested to know that two of his babies have ended up in good hands.

Yup that was it! Thanks AL! I forgot "The Shadow"..... I had one made like that the last time (a couple of years ago...non uni)... very nice little packages when they are setup that way.

the shorty 'shadow'm unibody was uncommon, especially in colored anno.

The "even earlier" Phantoms came with a Crosman reciever, the same handle and trigger assembly that was on the Brass Eagle "Nightmare' line
