PMS maniac II????

i picked up this gun off cl today it is a pms inc. maniac II the serial number is unusually low 000074 is on the grip frame im guessing it is a s/n it is a 14 in barrel unibody nelson based pump non adjustable non anti kink bolt uses really long razorback type powertube and a hammer that looks almost identical to a raxorback pump anrm and trigger frame looks almost exactly like a razorback with the exception of the width of where the frame handle goes onto the frame (razorback is wider) i was just wondering was this some sort of cheap razorback clone? it shoots fine it looks to be all original but the action don not seem to be as nice as most other nelson based guns i have seen and also it will cock and dry fire without beeing aired up??? any info would be awsome

I have a PMS maniac II to. No it does not dry fire. I'm not really an expert on oldschool pump guns but I got mine from a local store for free. He though it was broken because it did nNot dry fire. I aired it up to see what the problem was and it worked just fine.I'm not sure why this is but I got a free Pump gun out of it.
