Never heard of it, but is probably an early version of the Piranha if I had to guess.

It's a low end STBB. No, it's not worth $80.

Pmi owned the name Trracer so they put it on a plastic version of the Piranha, sometimes sold as the Black Max. Complete fail

Heh, that's just a Black Maxx with a different name and a God awful color. Not worth $80 at all.

I'd have a hard time buying it for $20, to be honest.

Came out about 3 years after Piranha, as a low-cost alternative.

It was the subject of a recall at one point, though I don't think any of the Trracer SAs were the ones blowing up.

They had black maxx's / point zeros as rentals at one of the local fields. This was back in 1998-9/2000. They would get so muffed up so quickly from the sand that they were next to disposable. I saw them chuck a few right in the garbage when kids brought them back. I knew to pay the $5 extra for the c98.
