That top gun is more than a sheridan.... it has some traits of being a MAC-1 annihilator.

It's an "Avenger" BY MAC-1. Awesome find. What did you pay?
(Why don't Flea Markets and Pawn Shops around my house ever have any good stuff???)

My best guess? Circa 1987-8. Still has all original MAC-1 parts, Fassst Change, trigger shoe, side-tap, Dial-A-Welt, even the wrap on the gas transfer hose. This gun would have cost $380.00 + to have built back then.

Yes, they are right.... Mac-1 Avenger. The other is a PMI Piranha. The Piranha, probably not worth much at all. The Mac-1, yes.

If it was mine? I wouldn't take a penny less than $200.00. This thing is as unmolested as you could get, and most likely played with for one season and put away, a real "Time Capsule" find.

DOT regulations require that the tank be hydrotested every five years. There should be a date on the tank, this will be the date of manufacture. It's hydro expires five years after that date. The date will be stamped near the neck. You could have the tank re-tested, or if you want to shoot this thing as much as I do, buy a new tank and swap out the valves to keep that "vintage" look, or slap a 12 gram into the Fasst Changer.

This thing will need the largest paint you can find, I'd reccomend Nelson Anarchy.

I'm still drooling over this. This is a real gem.

THe 10oz co2 tank will fall under the 2x2 rule, so it should never have to be hydrotested. (the reason being that tanks that narrow are next to impossible to hydrotest).

However, you will find that most fields will have trouble filling it. I'd guess that most will claim they can not.

Technically you need a DIFFERENT adapter than the one used on pin-valves. If you use that style, it will leak like crazy. However, all you need to do is have them drop an oring into the fill-station ASA, and you can usually fill it no problem.

Great snag. I love my Mac-1, played with it this weekend(in 104 degree heat). It ran like a champ.
