Mystery Autococker :S

Hey fellas

Picked this and another cocker up in Montana this summer and I found one was a 98 I have absolutedly no idea what this one is.

The cylindrical piece above is some king of IVG that is held in place by the beavertail screw, not pictured but on bottom tube where there are usually IVG threads it is completedly smooth.

Also the feedneck appears to be removable and all anno appears to match.

Thanks for the help guys I've been trying for a while to identify this so any help is much appreciated

Hmmm...I have had my hands on some "97" bodies (according to the dating site) and they didn't have the threaded IVG. That is always what I went off of, so I could be wrong

Interesting... I thought 97 was the 'magic' year where things started to get more modernized.. the TeamSection8 site doesnt go into specifics, but I remember reading somewhere that 97's started with the threaded IVG. Its the internet, who knows.. You may be right, I may be crazy.

According to the TS8 site (which is no longer alive.. ) Serials starting at 35--- are 97. TS8 puts it between 95 and 96, but that site isnt exactly 100% accurate..

1998 and 2000 were the big years.
