Brass barrel ID

Scored this on fleabay for fairly cheap. When it arrived, I (sadly) discovered it's very much on the large bore side, but also that it's got 4 nearly-equally-spaced grooves in the bore.

There are no manufacturer markings of any kind, but I'm thinking it's an early J&J. I recall "straight rifling" being an option when they were doing custom barrels back in the mid-90s.

Yeah, the straight rifling is a J&J option. I don't think anyone else did it on brass barrels.
