is this a knock-off auto cocker?

Craigslist find. Trying to find out if it'll be worth my time/energy to pick it up. Guy says it has an electronic trigger, but offers no description beyond that.

System X variant. If you can pick it up sub $100 it's worth a go.

Guys asking $150 w/about a 2 hour drive. Would probably ending up flipping it. Doesn't sound like it'd be worth it.

That's a System X Vengeance 1.0 with a Xonik kit (similar to Eblade; clapper and 3-way). That's a slightly later 1.0 but it's still first generation; you can tell by the grips which are the newer style.

Fantastic marker, I own several. Later System X markers had funky tolerances and creeping regulators but the first generation was exceptionally well made. Every component was scratch built, no WGP product involved. Rather than a Banjo Bolt, it has a central LPR that threads into the body and holds the frontblock in place. The electronics kit was well loved by many when the competition was the Eclipse E1, but lawsuits shut it down before E2 (which had some similarities).

If it's under $200 it's a reasonable price, but not to flip it. Most "Xonik" cockers are later generation bodies and regulators which just don't stack up to any factory eblade cockers, private label or otherwise. Throw a Benchmark frame and CCM kit on there and you'll be pleasantly surprised; smooth!

Thank you for all of that info. I think at this time, I'll have to pass on it then. I already have an ecocker, and definitely don't need another one!

Shame I didn't have the cash to make it worth your while, I wouldn't mind playing around with this one.

It's a fair price. I saw one in black go $178+shipping a few months ago on Ebay. I bet a $100 offer takes it.
