What is this cocker?

I am trying to find out what this cocker is/who made it. I got it today at a yard sale. Just about everything on it is frozen, but I plan to part it out. Any idea who did the body? There is no serial number on the body or any marks anywhere. When I asked the guy he pointed to the Dye barrel to say that it was a Dye... (silent chuckle)

Any ideas?

That should be a spanky fishbone cocker.

About that.

Make sure that you keep the matching parts together, because once a fishbone gets parted, that's one less fishbone in the world.

Aren't fishbones, or any Spanky cocker for that matter, relatively rare?

Not in particular, they were very popular in their heyday. Now, a working one? That's rare. The chrome tubes tended to separate from the body and cause leaks.

I'm thinking of making this a pump. But if I do sell it (had a couple offers already) I will make sure the core goes to one place.

I think Rainman on here is known to repair them with great success.
