I'm going to assume you know what's on it and just go and say the morning milling looks home brew not Major shop work.

Believe it or not, I think this began it's life as a Sniper II based on the serial number.

Funny.
I know Bud didn't build sequentially, but I now have proof.
In '89 I had Bud build me a Sniper II. He was pretty enthusiastic about doing it, and he told me that he was going to do, and I quote "all the latest tweaks" to it. I asked for a unique serial number also.

What I got was Sniper II s/n 3600, which had an anti-double detent which was a spring-loaded ball-tipped setscrew which was vertically threaded through the site-rail, a sear adjustment hole also through the site-rail, satin nickel body, gold plated pump-guide, pump rod and factory auto-trigger and satin nickel "bottom-line" which also was new at the time. He told me that and I once again quote "This might be one of the last Sniper II builds as once my semi comes out, that's all I'll be doing."

I guess he pulled number 3600 out of the heap especially for me.

Sad thing is I never got used to Snipers or Autocockers for that matter either, despite the fact I have three of each, they seldom get any use.

So Shootist, do you still have Sniper II #3600? Can you post some pics of it?
