How well do you know your Autocockers? Who did this?

I've been in this game a while and usually know who's done what on Cockers. But this gun has been in my stable for years now and I have no idea who made it. Granted, I've never asked Earon or Danny directly, so I thought I'd throw this out for you guys and see what you think. I has some similar milling to both Carters and Shocktech guns. It's using a wire ball detent, and I don't think Earon ever used those, but Danny did. But it has the top rail with sights like those found on Earons guns (Ducks, etc). It also has a palm swell grip frame, I think from TASO based in So Cal (near Earon). The barrel appears to be a cut down DYE barrel or Steel Wind barrel from Earon (no DYE logo). It walked into one of my stores years ago and I snatched it up, I've been wondering about ever since. Whoever did it, it's done exceptionally well. The ano is first class, not gun metal or pewter, but lighter. Tell me what you think. Let the discussion begin...

That is very nice

I'm no expert but Carter was the first thing I thought of.
Could it have started as a shocktech and then someone sent it to carter for more "treatment".

I'd go with this. The Millet sights are very "Duck" like.
Neat 'Cocker.

I know almost nothing about cockers but looking at the pic I immediately thought of a Carter.

It's the sight rail. It screams Carter to me.

That traditional style gun/shotgun style rail with the dovetail front post and rear target sight. If it were more modern I might have gone with Nestle, but his modifications are more purely functional, rather than decorative. Plus the fit and finish is too nice. And again, age is a factor.
