Looks like a Spyder?.....

But I'm not sure what flavor......

yes, very much a spyder with crown point barrel. trigger guard's been hacked. double trigger added.

Just a older Spyder, one of the first styles they came out with. They had a potmetal trigger frame, M16 grips, crown point barrel.....also came stock with a trigger guard which seems to be missing!

Was it the Spyder just before this model or just after that looked identical with the exception of 4 or 5 1inch~ long indentations in the lower tube?

I love those barrels.

It is indeed a spyder "original" later named the "classic".

The barrel is a steel barrel around a thinwall brass barrel, And they shot excellently.

I'd have to dig, but I am fairly sure I have an uncut frame for one of these. Let me know if you are wanting/needing one. I also know of where to get an original brass lined barrel.
