Wood grips...

I was thinking about getting a set of wooden grips for my .45 frame Blazer. Anyone know of a place to pick those up?

Most use Smart Parts wood grips if you can find them. Thats what I have on mine.

Moved this over to the WTB section....

They aren't sold commercially any more so your best bet to buy used. BTW you are seeking SP wood grips, they come in a variety of colors.

A guy by the name of "Kruger" over on AO makes them. Shoot him a PM. You can pick the type of wood, staining, finish, etc.

In a post he made on another forum (the thread starter here) he was looking for front wraps... and Kruger does not make those from the last I checked. He makes only basic panels.

I will talk to my bro. He has about 4 sets of these grips in varying colors. He may be willing to part with a set. Just remind me if I don't get in touch with you.

I have a brand new (still in the package) set of the smartparts wood grips for .45 frames. They are like those in paintjunque's picture. PM me if that is what you are looking for.
