want them for collecting or just playing? Reason I ask is I have a mint card from legends that I had autographed and personalized in 1994. Tuknir Deathlock. Never played with it. It's the only card I still have.

i have most of a legends set, including tuknir.

i sold all my magic stuff about 1998 and now that my kids enjoy playing i want to buy back in...
i'm a collector and a player that really enjoys sitting down and agonizing over card choices to come up with a good deck for every format...

and since my two boys and i play, i need three decks for each format!

hey i cant find my cards anywhere. but if you want specific decks or anything let me know and ill talk to my cousin. i dont know much about mtg, but with how many cards he has(literally a room FULL) im sure i could help out

I have a few decks and misc. MtG cards at my parents house. I only played with them for a couple of years '97-'98 and then my buddies and I stopped playing. I wouldn't know any specifics on prices or differences as it has been so long since I last played. I'll be heading there tomorrow and will bring them back with me. Maybe we can work something out if you have any interest in what I have.

Great, now I want to play magic.

The new sets are really powerful, and you can buy premade decks. Its still more fun to play with the old cards since everything wasn't meant to stack like they are now(ie elf deck, rogue decks, boggarts, blah blah blah). People's decks used to have more character.

find a "friend" that has lots of cards or will let you use an extra deck.
you do not want to "buy-in" all at once. It will take several months until you can equal the power level of those you play against...

Oh no, I have plenty of cards. Revised edition/ice age era mostly and a couple of the newer sets. I meant I want to play right now!
