| I Am The Admin | WTB: M 80 Mod 0 Flares for a M 31 Hand Flare Gun Just a long shot.... I come across them on ebay once in a while. Some there now that I'm bidding on... Anyone have a bead on some? If you hit your local army navy store and see any.. Pick them up, I'll pay for them. I only have a few flares left. It's a tradition when I was a kid that my Grandfather used to shoot off one of these flares on the 4th of July. I've been carrying on that simple tradition since he died now, and I see that I'm almost out. So now that I'm thinking about it, I'm buying up what I can to keep my satisfied. Either way, thanks for reading. Carter

They carried all sorts of oddball ammo, like flamethrower 12ga rounds, and sold a grenade launcher that took the flares. What size are tehy? regular 12ga or the 25mm ones?

| I Am The Admin | They must be the 25 MM ones. It's basically a small hand held PEN gun. These screw into the top. I think it's from the Vietnam era. I'll see what else I can find on it.

| I Am The Admin | I haven't looked... But as you see on the first auction there that I'm bidding on, the date on the flares is from the late 60's. So... I doubt I'll find them at a marina. I'll just keep plugging ebay and military surplus places.
