I had a Trracer with the detent, and it had stoweaway grip, not the euro.

No problem. My i'm interested in this myself. i have one wit no detent,lonestar grip, doesnt even have flathead slots in the grip screws or pump handle screws.

Then you have a true Gen 1 Trracer, like mine. Very early Gen 2s had slotted quick strip screws, wide slotted so you could use a coin. They also had adjustable bolts and a long t-handled hex rod for adjusting with 2 white discs as barrel guides. The earliest Gen 2 models came with Lonestar grips, then just as quickly went over to the Euro grip. The detent was added during Gen 2 making them almost an exact clone of a Maverick.
