I haven't got anything CO2 powered, I have an older ( no longer made) Crossman A*I*R 17 (M16 mock up), but it's a pump...can really crank it.

Id like to get something more in the high end pistols or rifles, but would go for something in the low end if the price is right

Ill also go for a pump if thats all i can get

High end stuff is kinda high, especially if you want it fast and quiet.Co2 needs a longer barrel to achieve good fps and good fpe,if you want to hunt with it.
Ive got a couple of high pistols that would fit the bill, frankly, you cant get any better than these two.

CrookedBarn crosman 2240.

Mac 1 LD with Fatboy carbon fiber shroud.

ahh... i've been waiting for Dewane to chime in and show off those beauties.

those are sweet looking pistols.

what caliber are those? and how many FPS do they get?

Dewane 09-12-2006 08:17 PM

Yah Chad, these things are cool.Squirrels dont come to my backyard anymore;)

They're both 22.The top one shoots about 425fps out of its 10" barrel and the LD shoots about 550fps out of its 13" barrel.About the most you can get out of co2 is 700ish out of longer barreled rifles.

LOL... there's probably no squirrels left to come in your backyard.

i've been wanting to get a nice pellet gun myself for the squirrels in my backyard and for target shooting.

Grey woodland rats are scarce in my yard with my .22 blue streak.

I'd love a CB 2240 like yours to dispach them with out pumping.
