I was told by Chaos " difference, the 1k version is milled more as the breech area is longer. You can use a 1k barrel on a 2k Blazer but,not the other way around"

I have a pre2k Bigshot that I use on my 2k Blazer and works just fine, although I'm thinking about having it milled to fit Freak inserts.

Yeah...I had it backwards. On pre-2k Blazers, the barrel goes about 2.30 inches into the body, on post-2k Blazers, it only goes 2.03". So, then, that BigShot I wouldn't mind selling (back on topic) would work just fine on either "generation" of Blazer. Since the whole thing - including the part that slips into the gun - is black anodized, it'll look great on either one, to boot.

Bigshots are .689

It will work with a 2000 plus actually, there is just a gap externally since the area where the barrel slips in is shorter on later models.

I am pretty interested..any chance of a photo?

edit - replied before I saw all the follow ups haha.

still really looking for a 2k barrel.

not necessarily. In the olden days (when Marballizer was considered really small bore paint), Bigshots were larger. IIRC, the AutoSpirit was .689 and the Bigshot was .692, but I also used to have a 'Cocker-threaded Bigshot that was .693. I'm pretty sure this one actually has the size engraved/etched on it near the muzzle.

I'll get a pic of it tonight. Like I said, though, this one was anodized after being cut down to fit the Blazer. That's why I think it was actually done by the folks at Lapco. I heard that at one point in time they actually made Blazer sized barrels, so maybe this is proof of that.

You are correct, lapco did make blazer barrel strait from the lapco factory that required no modification. I dont doubt that in any way.

Check the bore size and lmk..cool

Correction, it's .691, not .692. I never noticed the ding on the end of the barrel until I took these pics....

At this point to everyone I think Im really going to narrow my search to aluminum barrels cut for a 2000 plus serial number. Ive kinda reached my quota of early model barrels now.

Anything non brass for a 2000 plus blazer will peak my interest.
