wheel weights lead anybody in auto?

I am looking for old wheel weights to use in casting.
I can pick them up at castle or we can work something out.

thanks, takeoff junk ones are totally fine.

I think up to 68lbs can be stuffed in a large flat rate box. (this would assume ingots probably)

We use lead tape at work. I can get plenty. It will have adhesive remains. Will heating the lead burn off the adhesive? If you think so, I can send you some and you can try.

that would rock!

I would take as much as you could logistically travel with, dont kill yourself obviously and you guys have gear to move! The stick ons are no good due to the adhesive and possible increased zinc content (not sure), the old schoolies are the socks, and the old schoolies for semi trucks are awesome.

that's probably 'soft dead' lead, used for x ray shielding mostly. anyway it's too soft usually.

Yeah i remember it being pretty soft. i use to throw a couple in the bed of my truck during the winter. They would come out pretty banged up.
