Motorcycle anyone???

Figured what the hell.... I know there are some motorcycle dude's and dudette's around here....

I was going to post it on ebay or craig's list soon, but maybe one of you would like it...
1992 Yamaha Virago 750cc ... 8500 miles
I bought this 2 years ago and have put 2000 miles on her... It sat for most of last year and I took it out about a month go, replaced the battery also... Runs awesome when used more often, it's just wasted sitting here... 2 years ago I put new Tires on it Bridgestone Spitfire's... Great tires.. all the mechanics at the local yamaha dealer have them on their bikes... New Mustang seat, the factory one is NOTHING compared to this, my back feels better after riding also added the upper pad and luggage rack...
The GPS is MINE !!!! but if it seals a deal I can part with it... Yes, it stays on with the speedo topped Only did it once...

I'm looking for 2500 firm ... It's got a couple chips on it,NO dent or scratches on painted surfaces. Previous owner dropped in garage, scrapped the front brake resevoir and very tip of exhaust...

Anyone local with a license can come over and try it... It does need to run a bit, I'll try to get it out this weekend and put some miles on it...
If you buy it I can meet you up to 100 miles from Kinnelon, NJ with it on a trailer...

Here's some pic's larger are in my gallery...

Not a bad price, and IIRC, they had fixed the issue with them eating starters by 92

You know ... this is my 2nd Virago... The motors were always clanky... My first I bought Brand new off the floor '94 and it sounded the same since day one....

I think the starters were earlier 80's bikes... This one is fine and never had an issue.... Just lack of use....

my dad had an 81 920RH, a cousin to the Virago line. Great bike, worst yamaha engine ever.

Yeah, 80's virago's eat a starter once every 2 or so years, just cost of ownership.

Nice Virago. Mine is an 86 and an 1100cc. I do not think anybody could go wrong with your bike. Great idea with the GPS btw. I may steal it.

That GPS is the greatest thing since sliced bread... I don't know how many people pulled along me and asked about it... I uploaded a 200 mile radius from my house with all side roads and stuff.... Always has been right on the money...

With the shaft drive on it that maintainence is damn near nill... change your oils, filters and your good to go.... Virago's have always been a good bike.. I think they stopped in '97.... Poor move I thought... The only other 80's style teardrop left is the Kawasaki Vulcan750 and I think that's over soon also...

only real major issue I have had has been crappy carb design, however a custom intake and a mikumi carb squared that away right quick.
