Fire gear & Fire Fighting Equipment

Well, cleaning out some goodies, prices are negotiable, also willing to work with some trades.

ALL items are NEW, most still with protective wrapping on them wher applicable.

ITEMS:

Lion Apparel Legacy 5 Fire helmet. BLACK in color, LYME striping. Comes with adjustable suspension, adjustable chin strap. Includes NFPA compliant "User Instruction, Safety, and Training Guide". Also includes warranty cards.

Copied from website:

Shell — state-of-the-art fiberglass materials for light weight and structural integrity. RTM technology provides color pigmentation throughout the shell.

Impact cap — Lexan®/ABS dome encapsulated with urethane foam and covered with KEVLAR® for outstanding thermal resistance.
Suspension — patented Center of Gravity™ adjustment system lets you set the center of gravity to your liking and keeps it positioned in place.
Height adjusters — provide three different headband height positions.
Ratcheting headband — adjusts from size 5 1/2 to 9 1/2. Headband is cushioned with foam and covered with black knit NOMEX® for comfort and secure fit. Extra large/small ratchet suspensions are also available as replacement parts.
Chinstrap — easy-to-adjust, quick-release chinstrap with postman’s slide.
Ear covers — NOMEX®/flannel ear covers for added neck/ear protection. Other materials available upon request as replacement parts.

2" x 2 1/2" lime-yellow 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material — has superior heat resistance and delivers higher performance than competitive reflective material.

These retail at $138.90 from Paul Conway directly.

I am asking $80.00 per helmet, shipped.

Have TWO of these helmet available, both with GOGGLES instead of a visor.

SECOND ITEM ( or would this be the third since I have two of the first? oh well, anyways...)

Morning Pride brand Ben Franklin Plus (2) FDNY spec helmet. This helmet includes a four inch face shield/visor, LYME tet.s, anda a solid brass eagle front holder. The helmet is WHITE in color,. which typically denotes CHIEF, or high ranking officer of the fire dept.

Copied from the Morning Pride website:

The Ben Franklin-2 is the most durable composite helmet you can buy because the color molded throughout "FYR-Glass" shell (including ridges) resists chipping, cracking and peeling far better than even Kevlar reinforced shells. The long term result is that the Ben-2 is the most cost effective, lightweight composite traditional. It offers comfortable fit, balanced feel, low head ride and light weight of "old" traditionals but with NFPA required performance levels. You could pay a bit less, but you simply can't beat Ben-2's fit, comfort, performance, or protection.

Helmet is in MINT condition, still has the face shield wrapped up.

List price of this helmet is $182.00.

I am asking $90.00 for the helmet, which includes shipping.

There will be more items to follow, and I will make a point of getting pictures available shortly.

Pictures will be available this weekend, as well as additions to the sale, such as extra turnout coats, and possibly an SCBA unit. SCBA is pending sale at the moment

Ok, there are pics of all helmets available here:

At present they are too large to upload to the site, I will trim them down this weekend.

More later, and check back for more items Saturday night.
