Shippers charge about $500 for a bike.I'll ride it down for gas money($140) and a plane ticket home(don't know where in florida you are).

I wanted to do that !!!! Damn would that be a fun ride..... I wish I had a bigger bike.... This one is great for commuting and short 100'ish mile rides.. but for the long hauls... UGH...

I had a 1200 Harley Sportster for a few years.... FAST FUN and damn near crippled me on long rides... It was a '95 I think... Hard mount motor... OUCH

This Virago comfort wise blew it away.... and it's not too much slower either...

I rode my 86 yamaha Radian to Chicago last fall about 800 miles one way.

Not a good bike for long rides.
