The FLORIDA KNIFEMAKERS' ASSOCIATION MEMBER PROFILE

TOM ENOS
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where I graduated from Plant High School and the University of Tampa. I earned a BS degree in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and went to work in the Aerospace Industry at Cape Canaveral in the early 1960's. As an engineer in computer programming and data analysis I worked on various projects: the Saturn Rocket Engine and later the Moon Launch Project. I worked for a number of aerospace companies including Martin Orlando, RCA, Chrysler, STL, and ILS.
One day while on a break from an overseas project I stopped in at Randall Maade Knives in Orlando to purchase a Randall knife. I was greeted by an old friend from my days at Martin, Pete Hamilton who was the shop foreman. He invited me to come to work for Randall, the requirement being that I would be able to grind a straight line on a round wheel. It took me a few weeks but I finally learned the art and worked at Randall Made Knives for about a year then decided to give knifemaking a try on my own. We converted my airplane
hangar into a metal-working shop. After investing heavily in machinery and supplies, in 1973 I began marketing my own knives under my trademark: my name inside a Bowie outline. I enjoy knifemaking, which I consider an art form, and like to create unique designs and make everything from Throwing Knives to Swords, and Minatures to Hunting and Kitchen knives. Over 1760 knives of every type have been made and sold under my trademark. I work in only stainless steels, mostly 440 C using the stock removal process and man-made and natural materials for handles. My trademark and the year are always acid etched on the right hand side and the steel type and serial number on the left. I also make my own leather sheaths and have always offered a lifetime guarantee on all my work.

Tom also made presentation knives to be given to those inducted into the Knifemakers Guild Hall of Fame...

Tom is a personal friend of mine...He makes swords for movie projects both real and in aluminum so the actors can swing them in fight scenes...

This Skinner is the real thing.... 5 inch blade D2 steel, if I remember right it tested to 62-64 hardness. Real Elk horn handle with black, red and white spacers with silver finger guard. 10 and a half inches overall. Comes with a custom leather sheath that was made for the knife by Tom and the scratches and marks was in the leather when it was presented to me...Like I said he didn't want it it to be a wall flower, he wanted it used.
" A real hunter should have a proper knife" is what Tom said when handed it to me. I was surprised as I contracted with him to build a small skinner....thanks Tom....

Acid etched Tom Enos Bowie logo, built in 1998 and serial # 1664.

Tom has made less then 2000 knives and theY are top notch. He made this for me to carry and use on the many of hunting trips we went on together. I use to travel all over to hunt but I've been too busy in the last couple of years so this will go. I have acouple others that I will never part with and the are in the same condition...

There is not a scratch, gouge or shapening marks on the blade. The knife could use a polishing job. But it is still mirror polished and you can see yourself in it. Antler handle is also in top shape with no problems.

Asking $300.00 shipped

SPECS

CZ 2075 RAMI Serial #0726A
.40 S&W DA/SA Semiautomatic Pistol Importer: CZ USA Model: 2075 RAMI Operation: Short-recoil-operated DA/SA autoloader Caliber: .40 S&W Barrel Length: 3 inches Overall Length: 6.57 inches Weight, empty 24.5 ounces Height: 4.72 inches Safety: Manual trigger and slide locking safety lever, passive firing pin safety Sights: Three illuminated dot system Stocks: Black rubberThe CZ 2075 RAMI is a sub-compact semi-automatic based on the proven CZ 75 line of pistols. Magazine Capacity: 8 rounds Finish: Black polycoat Retail Price: $576

The trigger mechanism operates in selective DA and SA mode depending on the shooter’s preferences. Several safety devices are used including a firing pin block and a manual safety. Incorporating the CZ double-stack magazine design.

This is a sweet carry handgun which I carry everyday. It's dirty in the pics and I won't make any excuses. It's either on me or in the glovebox of several trucks. The trigger/gun has been deburred and cleaned up by a LEO gun tech. The trigger pull has not be lightened any for legal reasons. But it is better then factory. I would not call it a trigger job.

Comes with one magazine which shows some wear because in Florida if you don't have a carry permit the gun had to be in a locked glovebox and the mag seperate. I had to do this because workers or some family members did not have a permit and used the trucks...Was always loaded with 6 rounds not the full 8 to reduce spring wear. A Don Hume leather right side in side of the pants holster also comes with it. This gun has been "carry" broken in with maybe 100 rounds through it with no problems, stovepipes or jams what so ever. I bought two of the same model from a dealer. This is a one owner gun.

Asking $380.00 not including shipping or dealer fee SOLD

Why this sale?

I really don't need another marker but post some pics and we'll see...as for the Ruger I have plenty of firearms and most of the time buy them in twos...like the CZ here, the twin is coming out of the box...getting broke in and used....
