| Banned | Steel, going by Point Blanks website, the Interceptor OTV " Exceeds NIJ Level IIIA protection." the SAPI plates are Small Arms Protective Insert plates. These cover your chest and back, and offer additional protection. Speaking from my own experiences, a SAPI plate will stop an 7.62 round. Still feels like you got hit with a baseball bat though. Interceptor Body Armor Full information on the Interceptor series. |

| Banned | Well, after talking with some of my fellow officers, and a few different PMs from some of you, this is whats going on with the vest. It is being parted. it is illegal for ANY civilian to own a Military issue Interceptor OTV/IBA vest. As a result of this, I am removing the SAPI plates (two front, one back). I am also removing the soft armor. The carrier will be available. It will include the carrier for the vest, DAPS (shoulder guards), collar, groin guard, and throat guard. All together this will still make a pretty good PB vest, with all the MOLLE strapping you can configure it any way you want. Some additional items will be added to the first post, as I am trying to unload as much as I can. |
