One day, I wanted to sell all the ones of value, my parents said they would give me half, and let me have them back some day. Here we are 15 years later, and I have them back. I really hate ebay and would take a hit here just to avoid ebay. Paintball trades are fine (promaster parts, M98 parts, ion parts, halo b, cf tank), and paypal is more than ok. Now the list This is my pride and joy, I opened the pack that had this card in it. At that time it was worth $100, now I see it going for about $35 on ebay. ![]() Gretzky Topps card, from either 80 or 81. Have seen it on ebay for about $5 bucks. [/IMG]Barry Sanders ProSet card. Either from 1989 or 1990, don't recall how to figure out the year anymore. Card number 102. Have NO idea the value. There are more as well, Mike Ricter Super Rookie card, couple hologram cards (one Gretzky one Ed Belfour). Eric Lindors Pinnacle Nation Team card. Jeremy Roenick 90-91 Upper Deck card. Cards are all in VG or better condition, can provide scans if you would like. Whole lot for $40 obo, and I really mean OR BEST OFFER! (with in reason, not going to let them go for a $1) Thanks

I have close to 500,000 cards from back in the day also and have been thinking of doing the same thing. They just sit in boxes, frames and card holders, just moved my spare room around and boxed up the ones I had sitting on shelves. Most are 1986-2006 baseball, football, some hockey and basketball. If anyone is looking to fill a set with missing commons and such pm me.

I remember the time the cards were worth major $$$......then in early 90s the 'new' card companies flooded the market(fleer, UD, Score, Dunhruss, etc), and dropped the bottom out of the market and values. They produced too much volume trying to fill their pockets and flooded their market place. I think also the fact that players and teams have no loyalty nowadays, so you also don't build a large fan base anymore. When players stayed with a team for a while, their popularity and fame was shared with more ages. I have a few old topps from 50s-60s and the autographed balls too. Good Luck !!!
