I was turned onto this thread by another member.
Id be interested in a y grip for my ICD Cat. I believe phantom grips will work.
Im hesitant in PLA myself. Its almost garunteed to warp and or melt in direct sunlight. Ive printed a bunch of widgigs in pla, and its an indoor use only material from my expierences.
Id hate to pull it out of my gearbqg, and have it bend all on me.
Id be interested in the carbon filled if you garuntee its replacement if it warps under normal conditions.
ill pm ya on my next break.

I’ve got screws available with the grips for an additional $5 now if anyone is interested.

Maybe my pump Omen project needs a Y-grip... how do you feel about adding the Evil "e" logo to a set of those panels?

As for me I'm having to hold off on this project to get some others done and out of the way prior to this.
I have the final versions with the heat staked inserts. They're MUCH cleaner. I'm really happy with them. This is how they'll look shipped to you.

Most shooting positions for paintball wind up uncomfortable with a standard pistol grip in my opinion. The 90 is a great option, the Y is ok, I think it might need finger ridges to really be great.

Fair enough. I can see that especially if you don’t use a stock. I personally can’t hit shit without a stock so the 90 feels fantastic to me. The Y I’m on the fence about.

Re: lack of interest.
Personally, I never saw the appeal of weird angled grips however clearly some people really really like them because what I’ve seen people pay for 86° grips would make your eyes water. It may just be a matter of word getting to the right people.
Also, most Phantom users have never touched a plastic grip and probably don’t much like the idea of it. Most people want to move up range to hardwood or brass if they are going to change anything and not something that will possibly melt.

I'll be interested in a Y grip for a precision rifle (real steel) but I'm still dealing with a porch pirate situation. Not ready to get back into the world of shipping yet.

For me I don't care for 90 degree or 15 degree forward grip angles, feels awkward on a pump. I only see usefulness in those angles when trying to fan a trigger but to each their own.

Hey everyone, so I'm curious, is the lack of interest in these just due to not wanting them enough, or is it due to the price being too high?
