Thumbscrew kit for your CCI Phantom! Stainless hardware with ptfe washers to prevent anno rub. Note these are not the same as OEM and sit a bit taller, which may impact your grip.

    Contents:
    • Rear Frame Screw x 1
    • Front Frame x 1
I am interested in what thumbscrew kits folks might like to see, I am assembling them manually so most any combination of sizes is possible.

Thank you! They'll be on the way shortly.

I don't use them myself, but a thumbscrew that fits with either of the CCI under-cocking kits would probably be popular (for the niche that it resides in at least). It's one of the reasons I DON'T currently use an under-cocking kit. I like my thumbscrews.

No so sure it’s got the room to fit with the Vertical ASA

Yeah, that was a concern. I don't know if it'll fit, but I guess in my head if you could get the reduced shoulder part to fit into the well of the base plate, you might save on some height there.

I would be in for a few sets if you could figure out how to get some kind of tool-less screw for the screw the goes on the CCI under cocking kit. I've been dreaming of one for years.

Also, this thread should go in the CCI section because that's where all the Phantoms live.

Anyone have pictures of what this looks like? The front thumbscrew is a snug fit already, it would work though even if it meant removing the VASA and installing the thumbscrew, then leaving the thumbscrew in place and lifting the body off as you go.

My problem with the front screw and the undercooking kit is that it always gets loose. I've considered loctite-ing it, but I also need to be able to unscrew it for that once-in-a-while ball break in the body that requires a tear down. I cope by carrying an Allen key with me in my pocket onto the field and making sure it's tight every couple of games.
If you could solve my problem for me, I will gladly pay.

Have you tried a split ring lock washer or star washer?

I think it came with one. I could try a new one, but would definitely prefer a tool-less field strippable version

Hmm that is snug, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on one to experiment with.

Yeah the bolt is barely short enough to wiggle in as is. Making it longer so you could use a thin thumb screw I don’t think is possible without relocating the VASA lower.
