gun holds air and cycles fine. I would recommend replacing the 3 way hoses they are old and stiff but still working. You pull the string on the front of the feed tube to load it holds 12 rounds.

To have this built today would be like 2000 dollars so, this is a steal. Its probably the only 1 with the super thoughtful NO SLOT spring feed that keeps it clean + that threaded ball detent. With that long stock...geez this thing is the best.

Xemon: I imagine you hold the forend with your left hand when you go to reload. Grab the string with your right hand and pull it all the way out then bring the string down and back to your left hand and catch it with one finger. Reload with the right hand, then release string.

The long fore end is super cool. I'm just looking at that dark line of grain and wondering if that is just grain or a start of or a repaired crack.

Agreed with Cunha, damn fine price... I've been considering building something similar for years (and I think this may have been the inspiration for string modding my 50 cal aga mag). I'd swap it to a traditional hurricane style Humphrey 3/4 way and 90 degree fittings though
