It is honey that has crystallized into a smooth consistency. It has a peanut butterish consistency and is spreadable like peanut butter is. I have a few jars ready.

I need to circle back for some more. I am in the middle of a 2lb jar I bought from my boss ( also a keeper)

I want to get 2x 2lb jars from you so I can give one to my boss to try.

What are the girls pollinating now?

Right now they are on dandelions and will be on the clover soon. The honey that I have for sale is from last fall and is primarily goldenrod and aster.

I have a limited amount of honey left and I’d like to clear it out before I extract honey next month.

            Special sale price,
            12 oz jars, $7.50 each
            1 lbs jars, $10 each

Prices do not include shipping. Shipping starts at $9 and is based on your location.

I’m currently sold out of honey. I should have more honey mid July.

I’d like to thank everyone who has bought honey from me.

Based on the comments above, I would assume so, but can you tell a major difference in the honey based on what plants they are primarily using? Is there a flavor or color difference?

Yes, the honey they produce changes in color and flavor based on the plants they are gathering nectar from.

In my area there are 2 honey flows, a summer flow and a fall flow. The summer flow is mostly clover and it produces a light and sweet honey. This has a very mild flavor and I haven't had anyone who didn't like the taste.

The fall flow is primarily goldenrod and aster. It is darker and a little less sweet and has a more bold flavor. Some people like the flavor and I've had a few people who don't. I personally prefer this honey however my wife won't eat it at all, she doesn't like the flavor.

You can find honeys that almost clear in some areas and some that are as dark as used motor oil.

When I go on vacation I like to try to find local honey from that area and try it.

The family is really enjoying your honey. Been using it for honey butter breakfast spread, sun tea sweetener and homemade teriyaki sauce among other things. According to my 12 year old “OMG! It’s like, the BEST, honey, EVER!”

I'm trying to get some fairly unprocessed honey for my elderly dog who is having bacterial/yeast problems.

Do you have experience with this at all?

                    Thank you,
                    Paul

I do not have any experience with that. Are you wanting to use it topically on the skin?

I consider my honey to be raw. It isn’t heated and is only filtered enough to make sure there aren’t any bee parts or large pieces of wax in it.

I have honey available again. The creamed honey will need another week or 2 before it is set and ready.
