    WTB Ice Epic

I know these are super rare at this point but I've wanted one for a decade.

Looking to acquire one of these blasts from the past.
Willing to go in up to $1k for a decent shape and working vert feed.

Will also buy non-working for parts.

That's gonna be hard ... Boone makes the custom seal for the inside.
Doc liked at mine, it hold air, but doesn't shoot above 115fps so I'll need to figure out what's going on there.

PS: someone had some not too long ago ... You might want to dig up in the sale threads ...
Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

Once I see the seal I can probably make one. You can get gasket sheets and cut them or get oring cord and glue.

Not sure which seal you mean. Only custom one I see is the delrin washer in the reg but it doesn't appear to hold air so anything of similar dimensions can replace it. There are some sprung ucup seals which will suck to track down but I bet they exist and are $$.

People have been looking for the energized seals for a decade and nobody can find them. Elsewise there would be at least a few epics still out there.

From what I've read over the year they were Custom made for the epic, not an off the shelf part.

I gave both of mine to a buddy who works with Robotics and hydraulics professionally and while he found some similar, he never could find the exact ones.

If you do end up finding a source please hit me up. I'd like to use my Epic once or twice.

These aren't orings, they are energized seals. They have a spring steel core and can't be substituted for a standard oring. I had a couple of epics once upon a day and one had a bad regulator. I messed around with every combination of oring sizes and durometers to no avail. I also went to a few hydraulic shops/businesses as that industry uses these seals frequently and they all said they aren't a standard size and were talking 4 figures + to get someone to make them.

Will do buddy. I didnt try to size them with normal orings yet but I'm betting sprung ucups are viable for replacement. I'll keep you in the loop.
