I guess it won't work on my gothic since it would require some drilling for the side screw?

or would it hold with a longer rear frame screw?

I think the rear frame screw would be out of alignment with that screw in the RVA. You could also go the route of finding a black version of the one you have on there. That’s what I ended up doing on a couple of my quick strip bodies
