    WTB magfed marker

Hey y’all, thinking about getting into magfed. Anyone have a marker they’d want to let go? If you have a couple mags to go with it that would be nice too. Not looking for anything too nice/too pricey. Thanks!

I suggest a TMC. Probably the best affordable. There is a lot to be gained by spending more $. They are a 98 on the inside and use 98 thread

I like my tmc. If you’re not into milsim, none of the mechanical magfed markers offer additional value except for the emf which is quite a step up in price.

mine is stripped down to just the essentials. No handguard, no buffertube, no sight.

Thanks gents, I’ll keep the tmc in mind. I have an old A5 that I picked up for cheap when my son started playing. He moved on to an Etha 3m so the A5 will most likely never be used again as I usually shoot cockers and automags. The more I’m looking it might be the most cost affective to put a Tacamo kit on that to see if magfed is for me.

The Vortex kits are a good option. Just know that the shells are pretty heavy. I also tried the air through stock kit on mine, but ended up switching it back to bottomline. The air fitting MCS uses has a tendency to leak a bit when under torque since it's just a brass tube press fit into the rear ASA.
