We have jumped into the deep end of the pool and the sourcing of parts is a lot harder than it used to be. This requires making things and trying alternate sources and methods. It is a painfully slow process, but we have made a lot of progress with a standard design in stainless steel. The SS guns we made before set a pretty high bar and we want to exceed that.

They vary in price and I would say the updates to the gun would sway that as well, when re-sold. Some had G&H lever magic and modified stock, some are G&H lever, Palmerized spring feed, tuning and nickel plated with being nestled into a Brassballs stock. Some might be pirated for the Rifleman swing. Then other’s had G&H iron sights and the Henry peep sights on one or so. I think the KBA had those. Very cool.

    found a fun flashback: https://www.pbnation.com/showthread....3839699?page=1

Just give it a little more time. I saw Bret and Jake the other day, things will be happening.
This is most wonderful news! Thank you for the update.

It's not a project I'm in a huge hurry to work on, and I may not find anyone to do it. I've owned a couple of pieces from the more "name brand" customizer and haven't always been super impressed, and with the extreme turn around time, I'm keeping my eye open for alternatives, but we shall see. Hopefully I'll get a message from Brett out of the blue and he'll be able to make one (if only to stop me from bugging him every 3-4 months).

    Hello!

If you have to ask.... yes that is VERY true with custom brass. The reason I was asking tactfully is that it is not cheap to do the hot work and custom brass anymore. In fact, one place is quoting 3k per project with a 12 month lead time. And this place is the professional work place for custom sheridans.

Now, I am not speaking for anyone else on here that does the work also. Just be careful with seeking out someone to take on your project. Lee Kinney, Lance Deleisses (Noxx), Scarecrow are all horror stories of seeking out airsmiths to do custom work and the project is never delivered and the deposit money is stolen. Didn't Lance get away with stealing all of those KPs and KPMIs that were supposed to be levers? Fucker.

    Best,

I'm really not sure what the price tag for something like that would look like, I can only guess North of $800? If I could find a builder that can meet those specifications I'm willing to discuss it.

The little communication I've had with Brett implied there may be a chance of them making guns again, but until then I've been biding my time, contemplating building a rifle out of a Phantom.

You know what they say, if you have to ask...

I think price really depends on a bunch of things. Do you have a KP or similar to put toward the build? What add ons do you want, finish etc. Best is to get a quote from someone who is actually going to do the work. It's speculation otherwise.

I can say for sure that it's cheaper to pick a custom build up when they show up in the BST.
Working...
