    Cusomt barrel for Micromag

I recently bought Micromag. It came with a 14" DW freak barrel. I didn't think it looked right on it. so I made a custom freak barrel to match the gun. I'm going to print again, with a less shiny black.

Id love to buy one. Even though I just picked an armson stealth specifically for my micro mag, id run this if the rifling is giving me hell.

And no rush here.. i believe the temperature is -8*f right now, sooo Im likely not gonna get to hit a field til April.

      Sweet bejesuses!
That barrel looks a whole lot better than the stock barrel. Although I might be biased, since I've always thought the stock Micromag barrel to be absolutely butt ugly.
If that barrel existed in aluminum, I would feel compelled to buy yet another Micromag, just so I could get this very barrel for it.

Thanks man. It all started with your barrel from Thingiverse. I figured I would use that on the mag. The way it flared out a bit didn't quite match, but still looked way better. So I decided to make something similar, I used your barrel for measurements for this one, lol.

Awesome! I'm glad I could be a part of it in some small way. Continuing the chain i guess, because mine started from the barrel posted by JonM

Great work and good design to make so many detail to match
it look like what it should have been from factory (but would have cost a fortune to produce)

Little under 7" but I'm telling my wife its 9".

Let me make sure everything works out with the prints for Brickhaus and I'll hit you up after that.

Lol, you beat me to it! I printed one last night, I made super quick just for fit. I'm going to work on design now. I was going to try to make it match the Micromag "squareish" looks. I am trying to think of how to make it look like part of the mag but also be comfortable.

You did an awesome job on that one though!

It is this crazy complex super exclusive really expensive software, you probably have not heard of it....Tinkercad...

I know, I know, I need to move over to something better. When I get some free time to make something I have like 15 min, so I just jump on TC and knock something out. I just don't find the time to start in on Fusion or anything. I know I need to find the time!

                  C’Mon, take a little credit.
Tinkercad is the cad version of hacksaws, files and duct tape. It takes a lot of work to get something right and that’s how we like it!

I mean, i have to agree with Foster in a way... I have to give you credit for sticking with tinkercad, IMHO it's kinda hard to use! So if you made this barrel in tinkercad as well, my hat is off to you, good sir!

But yeah, you'll enjoy fusion once you get into it. I can do quite a lot in 15 minutes on fusion.

If you want to clean up the print/mold lines then paint on straight acetone with a paintbrush. The more you use the more it will smooth out the hard, sharp lines.
