    Just don't understand

HOW this marker is bid up to 116 with 6 days to go. Sure, old school cool, but never knew Raptors to hold such value.

It's the Hopper because they are so rare

The grips are worth almost that, the barrel is not quite worth half of that, and the remote is another $20.

Raptor threaded barrels are hard to find. This one is a Smart Parts All-American so it's up there in price for a Raptor barrel. The wood grips are also Smart Parts and the camo pattern is the most sought after. Also of note, this is a very early Raptor as the VA is round and not hex.

It likely needs work and/or parts as it looks half cocked. In the resting position, the striker should sit closer to the front of the cocking knob slot.

Yup that barrel is prime for modifying for use in a Sterling

Even the power feed plug looks like an aluminum. Someone loved this little green bird.

Those grips in that color way go for $80-100.... And the barrel

Until I came to this forum I had no idea any 90s Brass Eagle paintball gun was worth anything. Where I came from Brass Eagle simply meant “garbage”. However there was a whole generation of kids who started with Walmart junk and they are starting to get nostalgic. In a few years this will probably double.

dang. i had at least 3 or 4 of the BE Raptors that were scrapped. Nothing fancy like this though.

While I generally agree with you on the Brass Eagle issue; the Raptor in particular was a reasonably good STBB semi automatic when it was being sold. It is essentially a F1 Illustrator which in their time were good markers. It was rumored that Brass Eagle contracted the F1 to be made for them since Illustrators were well into the F2 sales before the Raptor was released but I never heard confirmation of this rumor.

Someone is probably after those wood grips, and maybe the barrel, with the rest likely an afterthought.

I'm guilty of doing that a few times with spyders

Exactly. If I had a camo splash Mag, I'd buy this. Detach the barrel front and affix to a Mag back.

If anyone on here won that and didn’t buy it for the barrel, let me know. I would be very interested in it.

I was so tempted to bid on this one. Those grips and that barrel would have looked sweet on my LTD2000 Raptor, plus it probably has a functional sear so I could make that darn LTD actually function

But a final price of $217.00, yeah that's way too rich for me.

I really really wanted that barrel to go on my Cabela’s Raptor. I have few sears. PM me your address and I’ll send one to you.
